Last night, a woman was taken to the hospital after police say her car hit an SUV headon, and then and crashed into a house. She was driving east on East Main Street in Endicott, and ran a red light while making a left turn onto Adams Avenue. Her car hit an SUV that was turning right onto that road. Police say the collision sent the woman’s car into a house at 1801 East Main Street. The driver of the sedan was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured. Main St. was closed in both directions shortly after the accident. The scene was cleared shortly before 6 p.m. Officials were able to remove the car from the house, and clear the scene within an hour. Police say this is the second time a vehicle has hit this same house, in less than a year.
