The nearly two-dozen Shih Tzu dogs that were rescued from the basement of a home in Endwell last Thursday will soon be up for adoption. The humane society says that thanks to community donations, the dogs’ vet and grooming expenses have been taken care of. The shelter has already had many people contact them who are interested in adopting the dogs. Some of them will be able to be adopted within the next few weeks, however, each dog is different due to varying health conditions.
