Local law enforcement would like to remind the public that throughout St. Patrick’s Day weekend, there will be extra steps taken to keep roadways safe. The Broome County STOP-DWI Program says multiple police agencies will work together to take part in a special enforcement effort to try to crack down on impaired driving from March 15th to March 18th. The crackdown is one of several promoted by the New York State STOP-DWI Association.
