A motorcycle crash on Saturday night took the life of a Conklin man. 50-year-old Barr Terry was heading south on Route 11 around 6:30 Saturday evening when the single-vehicle accident took place. Several pieces of debris from the wrecked motorcycle were scattered across the scene and Terry was found lying off the road. State Police have not released any further information on what may have caused the crash, but the investigation is ongoing. State Police, Broome County sheriff’s deputies, and the Whitney Point Fire Department all responded to the scene. One lane of Route 11 had to be shut down temporarily.
