The Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott is set to receive about $1.36 million from the federal government for runway renovations. The money will be used to make structural improvements to the pavement and remove debris from landing areas. The work is expected to begin by the end of this summer and should only take about a month to complete. The funding comes through the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Airport Improvement Program, which awards grants to public airports.
