Former Broome County Executive and Town of Fenton Councilman, Jeffery Kraham, passed away over the weekend following a battle with cancer. Kraham served as Broome County Executive from 1997 to 2004. While doing so, he created the Greater Binghamton Coalition. The coalition creates a partnership between governments and the private sector to facilitate economic growth in the area. The Broome County Public Library on Court Street in Binghamton was also recently named in his honor. Both former and current Broome County politicians have expressed their condolences, including current Broome County Executive Debbie Preston, and former City of Binghamton Mayor Richard Bucci.
