A Horseheads man was under the influence of drugs when he crashed into the fence around the En-Joie golf course. Around 6 o’clock Saturday night, 37-year-old Charles Riss of Gardner Road in Horseheads was leaving the Red Carpet Inn on West Main Street in Endicott, when he allegedly crashed into the En-Joie fence, before turning around and hitting three cars as he exited the parking lot. The sheriff’s office said Riss was found to be impaired by drugs and was taken into custody. He was charged and released, pending a future appearance in the Town of Union Court.
