A BAE employee was arrested after being accused of stealing more than $50,000 from the company over the course of several months. On April 7th, the Endicott Police arrested Michael Callahan of Johnson City. He is charged with second-degree grand larceny. Callahan is accused of stealing electronic equipment with a value of more than $50,000 from BAE Systems. Callahan was an employee when he stole the equipment. Some of the stolen property was recovered, but Callahan reportedly sold most of the items to local pawn stores which in turn would sell them on eBay. Callahan was arraigned in the Village of Endicott Court and released.
