Johnson City Police are also investigating a shooting. Village Police say one person was shot outside of Charley’s Tavern at closing time, around 2am Saturday. The victim is expected to survive. Police did not release many details, and said late last night that they do not yet have a suspect in custody. Earlier Friday, JC Police unveiled their 25 new body cameras and five new patrol car computers. The technology was purchased with a state grant secured by Senator Fred Akshar.
