The Johnson City Police report that they arrested 37-year-old Craig Anderson of Great Bend, Pennsylvania last week. An officer attempted to have Anderson pull over for a traffic violation. Anderson refused to pull over, eventually stopping at Grand Avenue. Anderson then took off on foot, while throwing away packages of heroin, meth, and brass knuckles. The officer caught up to Anderson on Allen Street, where a brief struggle ensued. Anderson was charged with felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, and several misdemeanors. Anderson is also a fugitive from justice from Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania. He was arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail.
