The Johnson City Police Department is warning residents about fake utility workers that have been going door to door trying to defraud homeowners. They have received complaints about two men pretending to be municipal utility workers and asking to come inside residences. Police say to always ask for ID before letting anyone in your house, and you can always call the utility to make sure they sent employees to your residence. Anyone who has encountered these two is asked to call JC Police.
