A man wanted for murder and cocaine distribution has been apprehended in Johnson City. Police conducted a traffic stop on 33-year-old Cornelius Wright after observing a traffic violation on Floral Avenue. Initially Wright gave a false name and was arrested. Once taken into custody and fingerprinted, police got a hit on Wright, and discovered that he was wanted on a Federal Warrant by U.S. Marshalls in Mississippi for murder and cocaine distribution. Wright has been taken to the Broome County Jail, and is awaiting further proceedings.
