Johnson City Police released the name of a man found dead in a Johnson City home after a weekend fire. 93-year-old Michael Chalachan was found dead in his Albany Avenue home Sunday afternoon. Johnson City Fire Department responded around 12:45 p.m. When crews got there, they found the Chalachan dead in the kitchen. Johnson City Police do not suspect any foul play and the cause of death has not been determined. The Fire Marshal said it’s possible the flames trapped the man inside. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
