Johnson City Police have released the details of Tuesday’s break-in on Peterson Street. 21-year-old Timothy Bryant of Yonkers was arrested after neighbors saw him enter the residence at 15 Peterson Street. When police arrived, Bryant was confronted by officers as he tried to exit the back door with a jewelry box. When he saw police, he ran back in the house and locked the door. After about an hour, he opened the front door and was taken into custody. He is facing multiple felony burglary charges. He is also being charged with entering a garage on Burbank Avenue and stealing a bicycle on Monday. He was arraigned in village court and sent to the Broome County Jail.
