A single-car accident on Route 81 North in Kirkwood yesterday led to three arrests by New York state police.
Police arrived on the scene and discovered drugs on two passengers, including 7 ounces of cocaine, plus marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The driver, 21 year old Joshua Cruz of the Bronx was charged with reckless driving and multiple vehicle and traffic violations; 21-year old Steven Rivera of the Bronx was charged with criminal possession of marijuana–both men were released on court appearance tickets.
21-year old Max Otano, also of the Bronx faced the more serious criminal possession of drug charge, he was remanded to the Broome County jail without bail.
