The elderly Kirkwood woman who had been reported missing over the weekend was found dead on Tuesday. The search for 88-year-old Helen Oltz was called off Tuesday afternoon when troopers found her body in a wooded area off of U.S. Route 11 in Hallstead. The cause of Oltz’s death is unknown at this time but police reported that they do not suspect foul play. Oltz went missing Saturday morning. An autopsy has been scheduled for today.
