As we reported last week, three local students were chosen to audition to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Of those three students, 15-year-old Shannon Clark, a sophomore at Greene High School made the cut. Clark will now travel to New York City, six days prior to her Thanksgiving Day performance, to begin rehearsing with musicians from all over the United States. Clark and the rest of the musicians are expected to see a crowd of up to 2.5 Million people this year, and around 50 million television viewers.
