After Broome and Tompkins counties have hosted citizen preparedness training programs, the latest program will be coming to Tioga County.The training program will be held on Saturday, May 10th, starting at 11:00 AM at the auditorium at the Owego-Apalachin Middle School on Sheldon Guile Boulevard in Owego. The Executive of the Tioga County Legislature Martha Sauerbrey says that any citizens participating in the training will be given multiple tools for managing emergencies, including an emergency preparedness backpack with supplies. All participants must register in advance at prepare.ny.gov.
