The New York State Department of Transportation will be performing pavement line painting on Route 17 and I-81 in all directions within the Prospect Mountain construction project. The slow moving striping will be done between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today. During striping operations, New York State Police will administer rolling slowdowns on I-81 and Route 17. Each rolling slowdown will be approximately 10 minutes in duration. Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes whenever possible.
