A Binghamton woman is facing multiple charges after police say she was driving drunk with four children inside her vehicle early Saturday morning. The Broome County Sheriff’s Office says 28-year-old Alicia Newman was observed driving erratically on Conklin Road just after 1am Saturday by a deputy, who pulled the woman over. Newman failed sobriety tests at the scene and was taken into custody after her blood alcohol content was measured at 0.21 percent, more than twice the legal limit. She was also driving with a revoked license from a previous DWI conviction and is now facing four felony charges. The children were picked up at the scene by a relative.
