A Syracuse man has been arrested for car theft, after being caught stealing from a local pharmacy. 25-year-old John Travers is said to have taken a $7 auxiliary cord from a CVS pharmacy in the Town of Chenango. An on duty employee at the CVS pharmacy was able to get a license plate number of the vehicle that Travers drove off in. After running the plate number, authorities found that the vehicle, a Pontiac G6, had been reported stolen out of Syracuse. After canvassing the area, authorities found Travers in the stolen vehicle with the stolen cord. Travers has since been arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
