The Agency in Broome County has launched a Small Business Incentive Program aimed at assisting local business owners to affordably expand their operations through sales tax and mortgage tax exemptions. Midway Lanes in Vestal will be the first recipient of the new program. Owner Steve Miller says he will use the extra cash flow to remove a bay of lanes at the bowling alley and turn it into a recreation area that will include laser tag, video games, and a spin zone with new-age bumper cars. Miller hopes to have the project completed by mid-August. Broome County businesses interested in learning more about the Small Business Incentive Program can contact The Agency.
