Three people were found passed out in a car on Route 12 over the weekend with heroin in their possession. On Friday night, Broome County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 48-year-old Christopher Decker after he was found to be in possession of heroin. A passerby reported three people passed out in a car and was concerned that they may have been overdose victims. Several hypodermic needles were also found in the car. Decker was the owner of the car, and the two other men, one of which was Decker’s son, were released from custody without charges. Decker now faces charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.
