The National Weather Service confirmed that a tornado touched down in Bainbridge this weekend. Around 8 o’clock Friday night, the Weather Service found a convergent swirling and splattering pattern, which is indicative of a tornado. The organization sent out a team to survey any of the possible damage on Saturday. Reports of any damage were mostly limited to snapped trees and downed power lines, as well as some damage to homes. No injuries were reported as a result of the tornado.
