It took an extra meeting, but Town of Union board members passed four resolutions last night that could lead to the removal of Supervisor Rose Sotak. She is under investigation for verbally harassing town employees over the last few years. Resolutions passed last night include making the investigation public and hiring a private lawyer to look into the legal process of removing the supervisor from office. Sotak used her power as supervisor to block the resolutions as their last meeting, and has previously denied the allegations. She did not comment after last night’s meeting.
