A date has been set for the trial of a man who is accused of intentionally hitting and killing a New York State Trooper with his vehicle. Almond Upton of Florida will head to court on July 5th to face a charge of first-degree murder. Upton allegedly struck and killed New York State Trooper Christopher Skinner while traveling northbound on I-81 in the Town of Chenango back in May of 2014. The entire month of July has been set aside for Upton’s trial.
