Two people were injured in a car accident last night in Harpursville. Two victims were transported to the hospital after a three-car accident near 2868 Rt. 7 in Harpursville. Firefighters said one woman had to be extracted from a vehicle. According to New York State Police, a car was stopped waiting to turn, when another car rear-ended it. The impact propelled the stopped car into traffic, striking a third car. Two people were transported to Wilson hospital. It is unclear how severely they were injured, and their identities have not been released.
