After a nearly five yearlong investigation, New York State Police have made two arrests in connection with a home burglary and assault case that occurred on Walters Road in the Town of Barker in 2010. Dustin Buckley of Binghamton was arrested on a count of Burglary in the 1st degree. And, Timothy Ellis was arrested on a count of burglary, as well as attempted murder in the 2nd degree. According to the initial press release in 2010, the victim of the assault and burglary had to be treated for severe injuries at an area hospital. Both suspects were arraigned and sent to the Broome County Jail without bail.
