As President Barack Obama gets ready to embark on his two-day bus tour through Upstate New York, Binghamton University is preparing for the large amount of attention the president will undoubtedly attract. The university released details of an online lottery system for tickets open to students, faculty and staff to see the president speak. Those eligible for the lottery can only enter once, and ticket recipients will be drawn at random today at noon. One ticket will be awarded per entry selected. During his town-hall style visit to BU on Friday, Obama will be discussing his administration’s plans to make college more affordable. The president will be laying out the details of his plan to fight rising costs and improve value for both students and their families.
