A forklift accident at a Vestal company has left one man dead. Vestal Police and the Vestal Volunteer Emergency Squad responded Friday afternoon to a call at National Pipe and Plastics. A man, whose name has not yet been released, was reportedly hit by a moving forklift. Police investigated the scene and do not believe any criminal activity was involved in the incident. The victim was transported to Wilson Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
