Police are looking for a man who forced his way into a Vestal home on Wednesday. Just before 3 p.m. yesterday at 128 South Jensen Road in Vestal, an unknown man rang the doorbell, forced his way into the house, then held the female resident of the home at knife-point with a kitchen knife. The woman was home with her two children, a 1-year-old and a 2-year-old. After the incident, she went to the neighbors’ house to call 911. The woman was not injured, but taken to the hospital as a precautionary measure. Vestal Police are currently on the lookout for a white male, approximately 50-years-old, with short dark hair and grey, scruffy facial hair and discolored teeth. At the time of the incident, he was wearing blue jeans, and a flannel shirt. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Vestal Detectives at 754-2477.
