Over 100 special Olympians played softball in Vestal on Sunday. Teams from all over the state competed in the Super Regional Tournament held at Harold Moore Park and the Vestal High School. Normally winners would move on to the State Tournament, but the organization has come across financial difficulties, forcing a cancellation of two of their three yearly state games as they look to cut costs. Officials say all state games will be brought back next year.
