Update: Additional Charges Likely in Vestal DWI Crash

Vestal Police are saying that the driver of the SUV that initiated a three vehicle crash on Saturday will face additional charges, pending results of a blood alcohol test at the State Police Lab in Olean.
Adam Gurney, 25, has been charged with felony DWI, since there were two children under 15 in his SUV.
Six people were taken to the hospital following the crash.
The driver of the second car is in critical condition at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.
The other injuries were not life threatening.
Gurney’s SUV was trying to turn left onto Main Street when it was hit by an oncoming car.
The SUV then hit a third vehicle which was stopped.
Gurney is currently in the Broome County Jail; no bail has been set.
