Vestal police were called to Target last night after a man reportedly robbed a cashier at knifepoint. Police responded at approximately 8:10 p.m. after a man walked up to a cashier at the Vestal Parkway store 15 minutes earlier, flashed his knife and demanded money, according to emergency communication reports. It’s not known how much was stolen. The man is described as white, in his early 40s, with short dark hair and last seen wearing blue jeans, a black North Face jacket with a black shirt underneath, a tan or cream-colored skull cap and white sneakers. The man was believed to have fled the scene in a four-door sedan. No other description was given, although police were reviewing surveillance video.
