Multiple fire crews responded to a Whitney Point house fire early this morning. At around midnight, a fire broke out at 2364 Whitney Point Lisle Road. It was a second alarm fire. Multiple crews assisted with the flames, including Lisle, Killawog, Triangle, and Marathon. Crews finished putting out the fire around 2:40 this morning. The Lisle Fire Department has said the house is a total loss. The Fire Chief says the fire started in a bedroom, but they have not yet determined the exact cause.
