ENDICOTT, N.Y. — The Village of Endicott has received a $150,000 state grant to help improve water infrastructure and protect water quality.

The funding comes through New York State’s Community Resiliency, Economic Sustainability and Technology (CREST) Program and will be used to install a new containment treatment system at the Endicott Wastewater Treatment Plant on Anson Road.

Village officials say the project will strengthen the community’s infrastructure, improve the reliability of the wastewater system, and help protect public health.

The grant is part of a broader statewide effort to address aging water infrastructure and improve water quality for communities across New York.

Construction on the new containment treatment system is already underway.
