The Tioga County Veterans Service Agency will be giving out 224 tickets to the Tioga County Fair to veterans and their families.
The Tioga County Legislature unanimously approved a resolution to exceed the normal $150 per-event spending limit and allowed the agency to spend $3,000 on the tickets.
The Tioga County Fair will run from Tuesday, Aug. 11 through Saturday, Aug. 15 at Marvin Park in Owego.
Veterans and widows of veterans qualify for the free tickets.
Tickets are available in a first-come, first-serve basis and will be available at the Tioga County Veterans Service Agency office at 56 Main Street in Owego.
