April is National County Government Month, and Tioga County leaders want residents to know all the services that they provide. A document has been posted on the county website – “130 Ways Tioga County Works for You.” We have posted a link on the WEBO website. Counties in New York deliver vital programs and services to the people in their communities, and much more than was originally intended. Counties were first set up in the state to build roads, protect residents, and deliver social service programs. Counties still do that now, but much more. The many services are listed on the document.
