Residents in the Apalachin Fire District voted to approve the construction of a new fire station. The new station would be located at the same location of the current facility at 230 Pennsylvania Avenue. The new facility is expected to cost about $2.5 Million dollars, and will provide the fire department with much needed space for their equipment.
