Tioga County Sheriff’s deputies arrested an Athens man for a violation of the Family Court Act. 24-year-old Steven Wheeler of East Vanderbilt Street in Athens was found to have a warrant for his arrest after a vehicle stop on State Route 34 in the Town of Barton. The warrant was issued out of Tioga County Family Court. Wheeler was arraigned in the Village of Waverly court and was sent to the Tioga County Jail on $1,000 bail.
