A local non-profit organization will be offering youth volunteerism and beautification grants in Tioga County. The Charles H. Basset Youth Foundation will be working in partnership with the Community Foundation of South Central New York to give the grants. Small grants for youth volunteer projects in the county and beautification grants in both the Town and Village of Owego will be distributed in May of this year. Grant proposals from interested organizations are due by April 1st to the foundation’s Ah-Wa-Ga Center in Owego at 34.5 Lake Street.
