In the third Cal Harris murder trial yesterday, blood expert Terry Laber, who worked for the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension for 44 years, and has analyzed more than 300 homicide crime scenes, was on the stand. His testimony will continue today. The defense also brought to the stand Michael Kasper, who was involved in a relationship with Michele Harris in 2001. Another witness, Jason Bryant, testified outside the jury’s presence but on the record in the case the appellate court overrules Judge Bartlett’s decision to not allow him to testify. The trial continues this morning.
