The Campville Fire Department was dispatched at 7:15 this morning for two stranded canoers in the Susquehanna River near Sawyer Road in Campville. The Water Rescue Team responded, but before they arrived on scene, the canoers were able to board another passing boat, which transported the individuals safely to shore. They are being evaluating by the Campville squad.
