We are awaiting details of an early morning structure on Spencer Road in Candor. We know that the call came in before 3 o’clock this morning and that Candor Fire and EMS responded, as well as firefighters from Weltonville, Owego, and the Tioga County Fire Investigation Team. There may have been other agencies that also responded. A section of Route 96 between Griddleyville Road and McCarty Street has been closed since 5 AM as a result. We’ve also heard reports that the Tioga County Coroner may be on scene. We will bring you more details as soon as they become available.
