Jury selection has begun in the trial of a Dryden man, accused of shooting a UPS driver in a Walmart parking lot in Ithaca. 38-year-old Justin Barkley of Dryden is alleged to have killed 52-year-old William Schumacher of Candor. Barkley has claimed he thought that he had shot then President-elect Donald Trump. Barkley has been through a competency exam and was initially deemed unfit for trial.
