The Waverly Police Department finished up a lengthy narcotics investigation with three suspects taken into custody. The department executed a search warrant at a residence on Providence Street in the village and charged 29-year-old Brandon Roberts, 18-year-old Ashley Kirk, and 29-year-old Seth Hatch, all of Waverly. The three have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree with intent to sell and criminal possession of a hypodermic needle. Roberts and Kirk are also facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child. All three were sent to the Tioga County jail on $25,000 bail. The department recovered several heroin packets, 200 hypodermic needles, and a large amount of cash. More arrests are expected.
