Numerous fire departments from three counties and two states are all on the scene of a large brush fire near Stateline Automotive and Talmadge Hill Road in Waverly. The fire has currently affected an approximate half-square mile area. Winds have taken the blaze up the side of a hill. Houses are nearby, however, only one has been lightly scorched. Not structural damage has been reported. No injuries have been reported either.
