Dennis Mullen of Waverly was appointed as District 5 legislator for Tioga County earlier this week. Mullen, a resident of Waverly, will fill the vacancy left by the late Raymond Case, who passed away in December, after being reelected just a month prior. Mullen received a 7-0 vote of approval by the legislature, with one legislator absent. Mullen will serve through December 31st 2018. A total of 8 people submitted letters of interest.
