The Village of Newark Valley held an official ribbon cutting ceremony for a new playground at Trout Ponds over the weekend. The new $42,000 playground offers updated and more various play equipment for children and was funded by a grant from the Floyd Hooker Foundation. The Village of Newark Valley hopes to even further expand the playground if additional grant money can be secured in the future.
