The Tioga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a female. Deputies were called to 1819 E. Campville Road in the Town of Owego around 5 Monday evening. Tioga County Sheriff Gary Howard says the female was shot and taken to Wilson Hospital where she was pronounced dead upon arrival. Deputies are not releasing her name or age until family is notified.
